Language Course with Listening Texts for Beginners
Radio D is a language course which was commissioned by the Goethe Institut
and produced by Deutsche Welle. The course, which contains extensive
listening material, enables processing of the lexical and grammatical structures of level A1, primarily through listening.
Students working with or refreshing the linguistic structures of level A1, with or without a teacher, and wishing to concentrate on listening skills
Teachers wishing to use strategic listening materials with prepared structures (from scenes set up as genuine radio plays to recordings of individual sentences)
Listeners who tuned into the radio course broadcast
Topics and Content
Two editors at the radio department Radio D are looking into mysterious cases. These take them all over Germany, for example to the castle of Neuschwanstein, to Hamburg or to Cologne. This teaches the students about Germany from a completely new perspective.
