Our Director, Dagmar Schalliol, has led our North American operations for 6 years. With an MA and PhD in German emphasizing cross-cultural education, she has taught high school and college at all levels as well as trained teachers for over 20 years. Her passion is advocacy for German in the U.S. She frequently gives talks and conducts workshops on the relevance of foreign language instruction.

Our Pedagogical Liaison, Arthur Grauman, with a BA and PhD in German language and literature, has over 20 years of teaching experience at both the high school and college levels. He is passionate about innovative teaching materials and especially enjoys talking to teachers about their individual programs and needs. He authors our popular monthly newsletter with teaching ideas and excerpts from our catalogue.

Our Manager, Mark Brown, with a BA in German, began working at our office shortly after his return from studying at the University of Bonn. He brings to the position his passion for promoting the study of German as a foreign language and fostering intercultural connections. He advises teachers on all aspects of our material, and manages the orders as well as our website.
