Orientierungskurs Deutschland fills in the cultural knowledge for the intermediate low language learner.  It covers areas such as:  A short history of  20th century Germany, religions in Germany, language, and famous Germans, as well as topics such as the environment, the social network, educational structures, the work environment, etc.  Each chapter contains suggestions for further research and projects.  The cross-cultural approach enables the student to reflect upon his/her own experience and viewpoints and stimulates discussion.
